Services for convention and event planners

The Bureau de tourisme et des congrès de Saint-Hyacinthe offers a number of free services to organizers who have chosen to hold their convention or event in Saint-Hyacinthe or the surrounding area. Since 1986, more than 1,000 organizations and associations have taken advantage of the services offered by the Bureau de tourisme et des congrès de Saint-Hyacinthe to help organize their event.

For help in planning your convention…

  • A resource person who is there to provide you with advice, support, and assistance in organizing your event
  • Help in the research of a meeting and convention site and lodging
  • Items to give your event local colour:
    • Loan of representative photographs
    • Suggestions for promotional items and gifts representative of our region (arts and cfrats and fine products of the region)
  • Help in promoting your event:
    • A supplied media listing
    • An entry in the mensual Calendar of Events for Saint-Hyacinthe and the surrounding area, which is send to lodging ans restaurant owners.
    • A hyperlink between our Web site (with over 36,000 visits in 2009) and your organization
    • A message posted on the bulletin board - along Highway 20 - to welcome the people attending your event and on the electronic bulletin board Infocité
